So I have given in to the ease of blogging. I figured, hey, why not jump on the bandwagon! It’s a good one; it promotes creativity, expression, communication, and community, so why not?
Why not? Because isn’t EVERYONE doing it. Won’t I be lost in a sea of blogs just like mine which are just someone’s journal online for the world to see. Isn’t it a little presumptuous of me to think that the world would like to hear what I have to say? Yes, yes…
But I hope that at least someone will enjoy reading my tidbits each day, for at the very least that person is me
.
Here is the statue which inspired my title. I smile when I hear someone saying “meet me at the dancing Shiva.” I know I won’t hear it anymore when I leave Parmarth Niketan Ashram, my current home, but maybe someday I’ll open a pub by this name or write a book by this title. It’s just too good to let go.
Currently, I am in Richmond, VA and leaving for a trip to the NW for 2 months very shortly. I will be moving out there permanently in October. I work for Sustainability Partners, Inc as a research associate. We consult to big corporations on how to be sustainable, without telling them not to exist
I telecommute (work from my computer anywhere) which gives me much freedom and flexibility but absolutely no structure.
I love to ride my bike to coffee shops to work, cook real food from real farms, and dream about a sustainable lifestyle.
I am tree hugger, but a well educated one with a job for it so beware that hugging trees will occur. See Exhibit A.
